                             RESOLUTION NO.   21032 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DISPLAY OF FLAGS
                  OF THE COUNTRIES REPRESENTED IN THE 1996
                  OLYMPIC GAMES IN ATLANTA AND SURROUNDING
                  AREAS.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	
      
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That during the 1996 Olympic Games in
       Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounding areas, businesses of the City 
of
       Chattanooga are authorized to fly the flags of the countries
       participating in the Olympic Games without the necessity of a 
sign
       permit, provided that any such flags which are flown on any 
public
       right-of-way shall be approved in advance by the City Traffic
       Engineer and City Engineer.
